We proudly announce that Early Learning Center (ELC) Paraprofessional, Marci Goulette, received the Iowa State Education Association's (ISEA) Education Support Person of the Year Award on Saturday in Des Moines! We are very proud of Marci and so grateful that she is a member of our Comet family!
Marci has worked for West Liberty Community School District for 12 years. She works with ELC students every day, networking with students and staff to keep our young Comets engaged and interested in their lessons. Marci is also President of the West Liberty Paraprofessional Education Association working with paraprofessionals across the district to assure their needs are met. Congratulations Marci, and thank you for your dedication to our students and staff!
This is the third consecutive win for West Liberty Community School District as High School Para, Becky Kober, received this award in 2022 and ELC Para Luann Bjork received it in 2023! We are so fortunate to have such wonderful staff members working with our Comets each and every day!
