As we approach the end of the school year things get exciting for our graduating class! We are so proud of our graduates and the end of the school year is our chance to recognize and celebrate their accomplishments. Below is a rundown of upcoming events for the Class of 2023!
- Tuesday, May 16th Senior Awards Program at 6:30 p.m. in the gymnasium
- Seniors who have received or who will be receiving honors, awards, and/or scholarships will be recognized
- Wednesday, May 24th Senior Final Exams and check out form
- Tuesday, May 23rd Baccalaureate at First Church United, West Liberty at 7:00 PM
- This is a non-denominational service for seniors and their families hosted by the
local Ministerial Association. All seniors are invited to attend. Senior attendees should report to First Church United, 1100 N. Calhoun Street, West Liberty no later than 6:45 p.m. on May 23rd. Seniors should wear their pressed gowns, however, caps are not required.
- This is a non-denominational service for seniors and their families hosted by the
- Friday, May 26th Commencement Practice at 1:30 p.m.
- All graduates who plan to participate in commencement exercises must attend practice unless excused by Ms. Arthur-Miller prior to practice. Emergency or unusual circumstances will be taken into consideration; however, work is not considered a sufficient reason for missing practice. Practice will last approximately 60 – 90 minutes.
- All fees and financial debts must be paid no later than 1:00 on Friday, May 26. Seniors with outstanding fees and debts will not receive their diploma during commencement exercises.
- Sunday, May 28th Commencement Ceremony at 1:00 p.m. in the gymnasium.
