As part of the National School Lunch Program, children can qualify for free or reduced-price school meals based on household income and family size. Applications for free or reduced-priced meals may be submitted anytime during the school year. We all know that things can happen at any time causing household income to drop (layoffs, injuries, change in wages, etc.) Please know that whenever a change like this occurs you can apply to see if your children qualify for free or reduced meals.
Did you know that your child(ren)'s free or reduced status applies to things beyond meals?
If your child qualifies for free or reduced meals the benefit that they receive may also extend to fees for school registration, and driver's education. The waiver questions are included in the online Meal Benefits application, if you answer "Yes" to all of the waiver questions it allows us to extend the meal benefit to the corresponding fees allowing them to be free or reduced as well!
This year we are using an online application process that you can access through your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. if you think your family may qualify for free or reduced meals based on your household income please fill out the Meal Benefits application in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
