Per yesterday's announcement from Governor Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Public Health, West Liberty Community School District will be handling quarantine practices on a case by case basis moving forward. We will continue to utilize our Return to Learn Plan as our reference for quarantine protocol. Please be aware that practices may be different in each building due to differences in class size, and other individual situations. The safety of our staff, students, and community is of utmost importance to us.
Currently, West Liberty Community School District has less than 6 COVID positive cases district-wide. You will only be contacted if your student has been exposed directly to a COVID positive case. Instructions on our quarantine practices and options available for your student will be provided along with this notification.
