While we are aware that the Governor signed Senate File 160: The In-Person Instruction Bill today, we wanted to remind families that West Liberty Hybrid Education will continue next week for grades 1-12. Group A students will attend class in-person while group B students will attend virtually.
We need time for preparation to bring more students into our buildings, including but not limited to: moving furniture back into classrooms, ordering more food for breakfast and lunch, arranging transportation schedules, adjusting schedules to account for class size limitations. We will be sharing more specific information next week as we continue to receive guidance from the Iowa Department of Education.
We received the guidance below from the Iowa Association of School Boards today. We will continue to share information as we receive it.
