All sophomores visited Muscatine Community College today to learn more about the 11 different academies available to West Liberty students. Students learned about the various offerings directly from the professors in each area. MCC offers academies in Auto Tech, Engineering tech, HVAC, Welding, Healthcare, Criminal Justice, Business, Teacher Prep, IT/Networking, Culinary Arts, and Agriculture. Students who decide to participate in an Academy at MCC would spend half of their day at WLHS and half of their day at MCC taking college courses to get a jump start on their college classes.
