Congratulations to Josh Zeman as he signs his letter of intent to attend St. Ambrose University!

Martin Lopez, Jared Terronez, and Jose Candelario, all members of the Quad Cities Alumni Network of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, came and talked with West Liberty High School students today. The professional panel discussed choosing careers/majors, beneficial study habits, time management, extracurriculars, organizations, networking, scholarships, overcoming struggles, and money management. Their fraternity is Latino based and members of their network come from a variety of local universities and have all established themselves in their professions locally and are looking to give back to their communities.
Thank you, Martin, Jared, and Jose!

Principal Ryan has been making his way around both the ELC and the Elementary to do a read aloud with students before winter break!

Congratulations to our last group of Caring Comets in 2022! We can't wait to see who our Caring Comets will be in 2023! Keep up the great work!

Yesterday our fifth graders shared books and letters with our first graders encouraging reading. It was a wonderful experience for all!

Fifth and sixth grade students have been learning about depth and perspective in art, and are finishing their snowglobes this week!

The ELC had a sing-along 🎤 with retired music teacher Mrs. Ostrem today! They enjoyed singing lots of Christmas songs, complete with bells and reindeer antlers. 🔔🦌

We are so thankful for our partnership with Vision to Learn! Today they brought glasses for 97 Middle School students as a follow up to the eye exams they conducted earlier this year. We can not wait to see the positive impact this has on learning!

Eighth grade students create topographic maps which use elevation contour lines to show the shape of the Earth's surface.

Ceramics 2 students partnered up and threw clay blind folded to help them FEEL what the clay is doing. Their partner talked them through it!

It was an exciting afternoon for Kindergartners, they traveled to the High School to perform in the auditorium for family and friends! They were spreading holiday cheer by "singing loud for all to hear!" - Buddy the Elf

An exciting morning at the ELC! Preschool students had so much fun singing the songs that they have been working on for family and friends! After singing they invited their parents to their classroom to decorate a cookie! We will be posting a video of their concert soon.
