Attention ELC Parents:
Due to our oven at the ELC breaking today we ended up doing a menu swap. ELC students received Friday's Hot Dog on a bun today and we will plan to serve today's Crispy Chicken Wrap on Friday. Tomorrow's menu will stay the same.


MouseTrap Cars were rolling in Ms. Martinez's class today! Students created their own cars powered by a single mousetrap. The goal was to get their car to travel 5 meters or more.

University of Iowa Grant Wood fellow Johanna is here to do printmaking this week with 7th grade! They are making monoprints and using a printing press from the UI Arts Share program.



The ELC had an assembly this morning to kick off our food drive this week. The teachers and students are having a competition to see who can bring in the most canned goods. If the students win, they get extra recess. If the teachers win, we are off to Hawaii!!! (see Mrs. Buysse already doing the hula dance) ☀️💦🕶️🧳

Due to a nationwide shortage, the romaine lettuce that the school ordered did not arrive today. Therefore, the romaine salad on tomorrow's lunch menu will be replaced with a chef's choice vegetable. Middle and High School salad bars will not have lettuce until more arrives!
