Third graders have been learning about how money moves through a city through Junior Achievement! They practiced earning, saving, spending, and donating money, made a restaurant business plan, and built their own city to represent the important ways money is used right here in West Liberty!
Join us November 9th at 1 p.m. in the Elementary Gym for our 1st and 2nd grade Fall Concert. First grade will sing about "Creepy Crawlies" and 2nd grade will sing songs based on the book "The Day the Crayons Quit." Check out their artwork in the hallway on your way to the gym!

Last week in PE class, Ms. Boone's class ran the most average laps per student in 5 minutes in a school wide competition for K - 4th grade. They get to keep the Fastest Class Trophy in their classroom for the next 8 weeks until we complete the challenge again in PE in about 8 weeks.

Muscatine County Conservation began their monthly visits to 1st grade. This month’s lessons were all about butterflies!
Even though it was Spirit Day, great learning was happening! 3rd graders have been working hard learning about animal classification and nonfiction text features.
