Our last group of students earning the Main Event for the 22-23 school year!
All of our students have done a wonderful job throughout the year following our PBIS expectations and we cannot wait to continue our Main Event into next year!
Here's a great summer opportunity for families! Community STEM Day will be held at Collins Aerospace campus on Thursday, July 13th from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Reminder to Families: If your child is not going to be riding the bus PLEASE be sure to call the bus barn, 319-627-4288, no later than 6:30 AM so that their bus driver knows! Buses leave the bus barn before building secretaries begin their work day, so drivers aren't aware of absences reported to school buildings before beginning their routes.

The elementary school art classes went outside this week!
The students designed and flew paper airplanes, made bracelets, drew, played games and enjoyed the beautiful weather!
West Liberty ELC & Elementary students made necklaces in art class!
They made their own beads from paper, a pendant from clay (texture was formed by stepping on the clay), they strung beads onto yarn using the beads they made and donated plastic beads, the pendants were decorated with marker.
Today was Step Up day where all of our students got to move up a grade level and meet teachers as well as learn a little about their grade level for next year!

4th graders took their learning outside today for outdoor learning day for the letter O of our countdown!
7th grade Character Ed students joined Mr. Stevenson to deliver food to the Elementary school this morning. The Backpack Program sends extra food home each week for over 100 students in the district.
Today was letter N day for Numbers Day!
Some 2nd graders had an addition and subtraction number hunt and it was a blast!
