Attention High School Comets: Auditions for the upcoming Comet Cabaret will be held on Friday, March 28th at 3:30 pm in the High School Auditorium. No preparation is required, but you can bring a song or pick up monologues/scenes in advance in the office if you'd like.

The artwork will be on display at the gallery Friday March 14 until around April 18.

Today was a blast as our school celebrated Theodore Thursday!







Our students had the opportunity this week to experience The Star Lab Planetarium!
It is an inflatable dome that is specially designed to display projected lights for students to learn about different topics including Constellations and Greek Mythology.








This Friday, March 14th, from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm is the opening reception for the Kindergarten & High School collaboration Art Show at the Brick Street Gallery, 116 E 3rd St, West Liberty! Kindergarten students drew monsters in art class, and High School Ceramics 2 students brought the monsters to life! Their artwork will be on display at the gallery from March 14th until April 18th, so if you aren't able to make it for the reception on Friday stop in to see it before April 18th!


The 4th grade TAG students went to a bridge building competition at the Putnam Museum! They toured the museum first and then did the competition and followed it up with an IMAX movie called Dream Big which is about engineering and how it impacts our world.

The West Liberty chapter of Educators Rising attended the state conference hosted by the University of Iowa College of Education on Wednesday. The students attended workshops and breakout sessions, listened to educators talk about their experiences, and even got to meet Herky the Hawk! Teacher Leaders Ashley Shimmin and Kennedy Amos were presented with a $250 grant from the College Football Playoff Foundation to help the chapter with a teacher appreciation project.








Happening tomorrow! Head to the Brick Street Gallery throughout the month of March to check out unique work created by a combination of Ms. Lynch's Kindergarten class and Mrs. Forbes Ceramics 2 class.
